About Clinic Genie

Clinic Genie is a Singapore-based marketing agency specialising in private and specialist medical clinics.

We help clinics strengthen their online presence and reach the right patients through SEO, Google Ads, websites, branding, content, social media, photography, video and AI search.

Our approach is practical and tailored. We look at how patients actually search, compare and make decisions, then build marketing strategies around that behaviour.

Because we work exclusively with healthcare clients, we also place strong emphasis on responsible and compliant marketing within Singapore’s healthcare advertising guidelines.

If you are looking for an internship where you can work on real projects, explore different areas of digital marketing and understand how agency work happens behind the scenes, this role will give you that exposure.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Marketing Intern, you’ll support the team across ongoing projects for medical clinic clients.

Your work may include:

  • Supporting digital marketing campaigns across SEO, Google Ads, social media and content
  • Researching competitors, keywords, market trends and content ideas
  • Helping to create and update social media posts, website content and marketing materials
  • Assisting with website updates and content management
  • Contributing ideas during campaign planning and brainstorming
  • Compiling campaign data and preparing simple reports or presentation slides
  • Researching patient search behaviour and digital marketing trends
  • Organising campaign assets, content and project documents
  • Coordinating with designers, marketers and other team members to keep projects moving
  • Exploring new marketing tools, platforms and AI-assisted workflows

You will not be expected to know everything from day one.

What matters more is that you are willing to learn, ask questions, take feedback and gradually take ownership of the work you are given.

What You’ll Get Out of the Internship

We want this internship to give you experience that is genuinely useful beyond school.

You’ll get exposure to:

  • Real client projects
  • Work on active marketing campaigns and projects for Singapore medical clinics.
  • Different areas of digital marketing
  • Learn how SEO, paid advertising, social media, content, websites, branding and AI search work together.
  • Flexible working hours
  • We understand that students may have different schedules and commitments, so there is flexibility around working hours while ensuring project responsibilities and deadlines are met.
  • Practical marketing experience
  • See how marketing ideas are turned into campaigns, executed and reviewed based on actual business objectives.
  • Portfolio-building opportunities
  • Build practical experience and work that can strengthen your future internship or job applications.
  • Hands-on learning
  • You’ll be encouraged to contribute ideas, try new tools and learn by doing rather than simply observing.
  • Agency exposure
  • Understand how different projects, clients and deadlines are managed in a working marketing agency.
  • Healthcare marketing experience
  • Learn how marketing works in a regulated industry and why credibility, accuracy and compliance matter.

Who We’re Looking For

You may be a good fit if you:

  • Are currently pursuing a diploma or degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Media, Digital Marketing or a related field
  • Have an interest in digital marketing, social media, content, branding, websites or advertising
  • Enjoy researching, learning and coming up with ideas
  • Communicate clearly and professionally
  • Are organised and able to manage multiple tasks
  • Pay attention to detail
  • Are comfortable using common tools such as Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Canva or social media platforms
  • Are willing to learn unfamiliar tools and marketing platforms
  • Can work independently while also collaborating with a team
  • Are comfortable receiving feedback and improving your work
  • Take responsibility for deadlines and the tasks assigned to you

Experience with Canva, Wix, Google Ads, Google Analytics, SEO tools, video editing or content creation is a bonus, but not required.

What Matters Most to Us

You do not need to come in knowing everything about marketing.

Curiosity, reliability and a willingness to learn matter more. We value people who are comfortable asking questions, receptive to feedback and thoughtful about the work they take on.

If you want an internship where you can gain real exposure to digital marketing, work on actual client projects and build practical experience along the way, we would be happy to hear from you!
