Responsibilities

About the Role

We are hiring an experienced Full Stack Developer to join the CSD Tire Data Provision project. The role requires strong backend expertise in Java and Spring Boot, combined with frontend experience in Vue.js and hands-on knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Microsoft Azure, and microservices architecture.

You will be involved in developing, integrating, testing, deploying, and monitoring scalable enterprise applications.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications.
  • Develop backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring WebFlux.
  • Build and integrate REST APIs and web services.
  • Develop and maintain frontend applications using Vue.js.
  • Work with PostgreSQL for application data and database integration.
  • Develop and deploy containerised applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Work with microservices architecture and scalable application environments.
  • Support cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure.
  • Work with GitLab for source control and development workflows.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD practices for application delivery.
  • Apply Terraform for infrastructure and architecture-related activities.
  • Develop unit and integration tests using JUnit and mocking frameworks.
  • Monitor application performance and system health using Datadog.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues across frontend, backend, database, infrastructure, and deployment layers.
  • Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, Agile ceremonies, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, architects, Product Owners, and other stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
  • Experience with Spring WebFlux.
  • At least 3 years of experience with Docker/Kubernetes.
  • At least 1 year of experience with Vue.js.
  • Strong experience developing REST APIs.
  • Experience working with PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure and GitLab.
  • Good understanding of microservices architecture.
  • Experience with Terraform is highly relevant.
  • Hands-on experience with JUnit/testing and mocking.
  • Experience with application monitoring tools such as Datadog.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
  • Comfortable working in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
