Responsibilities
About the Company
Our client is an engineering and construction-related company operating for more than 40 years and is involved in project delivery, site coordination, installation, testing, commissioning, and handover for large-scale construction and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
Manage projects from planning through completion, ensuring delivery is safe, timely, within budget, and aligned with quality requirements.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Review engineering drawings, project specifications, and Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for project planning and execution.
Prepare and update AutoCAD drawings, shop drawings, layout drawings, and technical documentation.
Monitor project schedules, fabrication progress, material deliveries, and on-site installation activities.
Attend sitemeetings, conduct site inspections, and coordinate testing,commissioning, and project handover activities.
Prepare projectsubmissions, including payment claims, variation orders, as-builtdrawings, operation and maintenance manuals, and progress reports.
Maintain accurateproject documentation, records, engineering files, safety documents,and quality-related submissions.
Coordinate with certification bodies and support project compliance, safety, and quality requirements.
Provide technical support to customers and internal project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements
Diploma Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
Minimum 2 years of project engineering experience in the construction, building services, engineering, or related industries.
Candidates without direct construction experience may be considered if they have a relevant engineering background, are willing to undergo training, and are comfortable working on construction sites.
Experience with site coordination, project documentation, contractor coordination, or project execution is preferred.
Able to interpret engineering drawings and Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
Proficient in AutoCAD and familiar with project documentation processes.
Possess a motorcycle licence, as travel to construction sites may be required.
Willing and able to work an alternate 5.5-day work week in the eastern region, with regular site-based duties and project coordination activities.
Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Able to work independently while managing multiple project stakeholders.
