The successful candidate will provide technical support and engineering coordination for construction works, ensuring that projects are carried out safely, efficiently and in accordance with project requirements, drawings and applicable standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and engineering coordination for construction projects.
- Review and interpret civil engineering drawings, specifications and project documents.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants and project team members.
- Conduct site inspections and monitor construction activities.
- Ensure construction works are carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
- Assist in planning and coordinating site activities and technical works.
- Identify and resolve technical issues arising during construction.
- Prepare and maintain technical reports, site records and project documentation.
- Monitor work progress and provide technical updates to management.
- Ensure compliance with applicable safety, quality and construction requirements.
- Carry out other engineering and technical duties related to construction projects as required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering is required.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in civil engineering or construction.
- Good knowledge of civil engineering principles and construction practices.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Good site coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage technical responsibilities on construction sites.
- Relevant professional certification or registration will be an advantage.
