Job Responsibilities

• Manage, monitor and maintain electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe, reliable and efficient operation.
• Plan and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities for electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults, breakdowns and technical issues and ensure timely rectification.
• Monitor electrical equipment and systems including LV/MV systems, switchboards, distribution boards, generators, UPS, lighting systems and other related equipment.
• Conduct regular inspection and testing of electrical systems and equipment.
• Review electrical readings, energy consumption and equipment performance to identify abnormalities and potential issues.
• Coordinate with technicians, contractors and service providers for maintenance, repair and improvement works.
• Supervise electrical maintenance works and ensure they are carried out according to approved procedures, specifications and safety requirements.
• Review technical drawings, electrical schematics, method statements and service reports.
• Prepare maintenance reports, technical reports and recommendations for management and clients.
• Assist in planning and implementing electrical upgrading, replacement and improvement projects.
• Ensure electrical works comply with relevant statutory requirements, standards, safety regulations and site procedures.
• Maintain proper records of maintenance activities, inspection results, testing and equipment performance.
• Respond to electrical emergencies and breakdowns and coordinate appropriate corrective action.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the maintenance team.
• Perform any other duties related to electrical engineering and facilities operations as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in electrical maintenance, facilities management, building services, industrial facilities or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Experience with LV/MV electrical systems, generators, UPS, switchboards and electrical distribution systems will be an advantage.
• Good understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
• Able to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and technical documents.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate with clients, contractors and internal teams.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple maintenance activities effectively.
• Knowledge of relevant electrical statutory requirements and safety standards is an advantage.
• Willing to work in a facilities/maintenance environment and attend to operational or emergency requirements when necessary.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
