Internship - Building Maintenance Jobs, Salary up to MYR 1,000 in Genting Malaysia Berhad Federal Territory - Maukerja

Job Description

• Assist the Building Maintenance team in daily building maintenance and operational activities.
• Assist technicians in conducting routine inspections of building M&E systems, including ACMV, electrical, plumbing and other building services.
• Assist in accompanying and monitoring contractors carrying out maintenance, servicing and project works within the building.
• Provide support in monitoring the ongoing ACMV upgrading works and Lift Replacement Projects (OTIS & KONE).
• Assist in recording maintenance activities, inspection findings, equipment readings and work progress.
• Assist in following up on maintenance requests, defects and corrective works.
• Support technicians during preventive maintenance and general troubleshooting activities where appropriate.
• Assist in preparing simple maintenance reports, checklists, records and other related documentation.
• Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with building safety procedures and requirements.
• Perform other related Building Maintenance duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Certificate, Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, Facilities Management or other related technical fields.
• Basic knowledge of M&E building systems, such as ACMV, electrical, plumbing, Fire Alarm System, Mechanical, Civil and lift systems, would be an advantage.
• Willing to learn and gain practical experience in building maintenance and facility operations.
• Able to communicate and work effectively with technicians, contractors and other relevant parties.
• Responsible, disciplined, proactive and able to follow instructions.
• Basic computer skills, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel, for documentation and reporting purposes.
• Able to work in a building operational environment and perform site inspections when required.
• Must comply with all building safety rules and procedures.
• Internship period must be 3 months and above.
• Possess CGPA 3.0 and above

Pay: Up to RM1,000.00 per month
