Role Description: This role is responsible for leading food innovation and category growth for in-store desserts, ready-to-eat meals, and baked goods. Oversees end-to-end product development, refines recipes, ensures cost efficiency, and manages a team to execute strategies and SOPs effectively.

Responsibilities:

• To manage and innovate the key food categories such as in-store desserts, in-store food, Ready-To-Eat, Bakes.
• To lead a team of food innovators and plan out the key strategies for the appointed categories for a successful growth.
• Drive product insights, roadmap, marketing and P&L of the product category.
• Responsible to refine product recipes and formulations.
• Build and keep track of competitors products in a database.
• Manage the entire process from market research, creating thematics, menu innovation, overseeing photo shooting, sourcing, costing, pricing, focus groups, SOP, final management tastings
• Oversee all of the SOPs created by team and ensure proper execution.
• To ensure cost and operational efficiency by maximizing usage of each raw materials.
• To lead, manage and motivate respective Fresh Food Executives or Assistant

Requirements:

• Min 4 year(s) of working experience in retail/ CVS / FMCG / food service industry.
• Knowledgeable in Food Science & Technology/ Halal/ Food Safety. Attention to details and organized.
• Possess relevant experience leading Product development / innovation.
• Good command of both written and spoken English.
• Highly analytical mind, communication (written & verbal) and presentation skills to support business-decision making and help drive business efficiency.
• Proficient in MS Office e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
