A well renowned architectural interior design consulting firm that specializes in creating custom commercial, retail, hospitality and residential spaces is currently seeking for Interior Designer/Senior Interior Designerto be based in our Singapore office. Reporting to the Regional Design Director, you will work closely with the Singapore team to create innovative design solutions, as well as develop and maintain key relationships with potential clients and industry connections within the commercial office space.

Your new role

As a skilled Interior Designer/Senior Interior Designer to join our team, responsible for space planning, conceptual design, and design development. The role involves collaborating with clients to present and sell design concepts, managing construction drawings, and ensuring projects meet client requirements within scope and budget. You will work closely with the design team, suppliers, and contractors, handling site observations, tender packages, and quality control. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, a keen eye for design, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively. These will all translate towards you delivering a truly client-centric solution for multinational and local companies across Southeast Asia.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate on space planning, conceptual design, and design development to define design direction.
• Serve as the main point of contact with clients, presenting and selling design concepts.
• Attend client meetings and handle client correspondence.
• Create construction drawings and assist with tender processes and site observations.
• Review and manage design team’s tender/construction drawing packages.
• Prepare sample boards, presentation materials, and PowerPoint presentations.
• Ensure drawings and finishes are signed off by clients.
• Support the elevation of design standards and quality control.
• Conduct site analysis and inventory assessments.
• Ensure projects meet client requirements, stay within scope, and adhere to budget.
• Liaise with suppliers and vendors for quotes and material quality.
• Attend weekly client and contractor meetings during project kick-off.
• Manage design-related responsibilities and assist with ad hoc duties as assigned by the Design Manager or Managing Director.

What you'll need to succeed

• Diploma or Degree in Interior Architecture & Design.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Interior Design.
• Strong creative flair, excellent color sense, and design documentation skills.
• Excellent space planning abilities.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Photoshop, PowerPoint, and 3D design software.
• Strong communication and design presentation skills.
• A committed, self-motivated team player with a positive working attitude.
• Well-versed in AutoCAD, Photoshop, and PowerPoint.
• Experienced in handling Tender/Construction drawing packages and interior detailing for commercial offices.
• Proactive, hardworking, and responsible with good initiative.
• Able to start work immediately and willing to travel.

Pay: $4,000.00 - $60,000.00 per month
