Job Description

Responsibilities

Institution: National Healthcare Group

  • Overview:
    • Working lead responsible for the full lifecycle of data governance in NHG — from setting policy intent through to translating it into operational processes and accountability structures
    • Engages independently with senior stakeholders across NHG institutions, MOH, and external agencies
    • Delivers end-to-end outcomes as part of a lean, hands-on team

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Policy Development & Stewardship
      • Develop, maintain, and review NHG's suite of data governance policies (Datalake Governance Policy, DASP, SOT framework, Retention & Archival Policy, Data Quality Policy, Data Privacy Policy)
      • Manage HIT/HIM policy engagement with MOH
      • Advise and guide NHG institutions on MOH and Group-level data governance and regulatory compliance
      • Drive policy adoption across NHG through stakeholder engagement and implementation support
      • Advise and support review of data-related agreements, including Data Sharing Agreements
        • Manage SHI/PII matters as required
    • Process Design & Operationalisation
      • Develop system and data access governance framework across NHG with GHI
      • Lead redesign of data extraction and sharing processes for research and non-research use cases
      • Establish Trusted Third Party process within NHG, including frameworks, guidelines, and operational procedures
      • Drive report retirement process to rationalise and align reporting practices with governance standards
        • Develop and manage DXO Terms of Reference
    • Audit, Accountability & Team Contribution
      • Develop and maintain audit reporting frameworks covering all relevant systems, including HEALIX and EPIC
      • Support oversight and accountability in data management practices across NHG
