Job Summary

As a Quality Engineer, you will develop and execute quality assurance and control plans, ensure compliance with industry standards, and drive continuous quality improvements in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement QA/QC plans, inspection and test plans (ITPs), inspection procedures, and quality documentation to ensure product and process compliance
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, material certificates, and inspection/test reports to verify adherence to quality standards
• Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs) by conducting root-cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to enhance quality performance
• Coordinate quality-related activities with Engineering, Production, Quality Control teams, clients, and third-party inspectors to resolve issues and maintain standards

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related discipline
• 2–5 years of experience in QA/QC or Quality Engineering within the Oil & Gas industry
• Knowledge of welding, fabrication, piping, inspection processes, and quality documentation practices
• Familiarity with industry standards and requirements including ASME, API, AWS, ISO 9001, ITP, NCR, and CAPA
