Job Summary
Assist Production Engineers in managing production teams to optimize resource use, coordinate cross-functional teams, ensure safety compliance, and meet customer requirements for delivery, quality, and documentation.
Responsibilities
Assist Production Engineers in managing production teams to optimise resource utilization and operational efficiency
Coordinate effectively with Planning, Quality Control, Logistics, and other departments to align production activities and resolve issues
Implement and enforce safe work methods, proper tool usage, and adherence to safety procedures on site
Monitor and ensure compliance with production and safety Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain operational standards
Ensure all production outputs are made to the highest standards of quality, and coordinate with QC to investigate and reduce reject rates and rectifications needed
Deliver production outputs that meet customer requirements including timely delivery schedules, accurate documentation, quality standards, and safety expectations
Maintain accurate records and documentation to support production tracking and compliance
Attend site/project meetings with the main and sub-contractors.
Required competencies and certifications
Bachelor degree or Post Graduate Diploma in Civil & Structural Engineering from a recognised university
Minimum 1-2 years experience as a production engineer in the construction sector
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Ability to work independently to meet production goals and deadlines
Strong teamwork spirit with proactive communication skills to foster collaboration
Ability to adhere to schedules and maintain proper records for production activities
