Job Description – Restaurant Receptionist

We are looking for friendly and service-oriented Restaurant Receptionist members to provide guests with a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience. The successful candidate will assist with customer service, order-taking, food service and maintaining the cleanliness of the dining area.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome and assist guests in a friendly and professional manner.

Present menus and explain dishes, promotions and available options.

Take customer orders accurately and enter them into the point-of-sale system.

Check on guests and respond promptly to their requests.

Handle customer feedback or complaints professionally and refer complex matters to a supervisor.

Assist with reservations, queues and seating arrangements.

Assist with opening and closing duties.

Carry out other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Restaurant Manager.

Requirements

Previous restaurant or customer-service experience is helpful but not essential.

Friendly, approachable and service-oriented.

Able to communicate clearly with customers and team members.

Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsible, punctual and willing to learn.

Good teamwork and time-management skills.

Able to handle payments accurately.

Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays as scheduled.

Working Hours

5-day work week

44 working hours per week

Shift hours will be scheduled according to operational requirements.
