Proofreading By A UK PhD is an academic consulting firm based in Cyberjaya, Malaysia, supporting postgraduate students and researchers worldwide with thesis development, research guidance, academic writing, and publication support.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one academic consultation and research guidance to Master's and PhD students.
• Review and provide feedback on thesis and dissertation chapters from Chapter 1 to Chapter 5.
• Assist with research proposals, research methodology, study design, data analysis, and manuscript preparation.
• Guide students through the process of preparing and submitting manuscripts to Scopus- and Web of Science (WoS)-indexed journals.
• Ensure academic work meets appropriate standards in writing, referencing, research quality, and journal requirements.

Requirements

• Hold a Master's or PhD degree in Management or a closely related field.
• Have at least one publication as the first author in a Scopus- or Web of Science (WoS)-indexed journal.
• Demonstrate strong academic writing and editing skills in English.
• Have a good understanding of academic research, journal submission, and peer-review processes.

Additional Skills and Experience

The following will be considered an added advantage:

• First-author publications in Q1 or Q2 journals.
• Experience with quantitative analysis tools such as IBM SPSS, SmartPLS, or AMOS.
• Experience with qualitative research using NVivo, *************, or thematic coding.
• Knowledge of programming or data analysis tools such as Python or R.
• Ability to review or write academic work in Bahasa Malaysia (optional).
