We are looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Assistant Manager, Faculty HR & Operations to oversee faculty administration, human resources, talent acquisition, employee engagement, and strategic operations. This role works closely with senior management, academic leadership, HR and internal stakeholders to support end-to-end faculty lifecycle management and organisational objectives.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end faculty and employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, recruitment, selection, appointments, contract administration, onboarding, performance management, promotions, reappointments, contract renewals and offboarding.
- Lead faculty recruitment and manpower planning initiatives, including workforce planning, talent sourcing, candidate assessment, offer management and recruitment strategies to attract and retain academic talent.
- Drive employee engagement, faculty engagement, organisational culture, staff well-being, talent development, leadership development, retention and succession planning initiatives.
- Partner with academic leaders and management on faculty affairs, HR policies, manpower matters and strategic workforce initiatives.
- Coordinate performance appraisal, promotion and talent review exercises, ensuring processes are completed accurately and in accordance with organisational policies and governance requirements.
- Oversee faculty administration and academic administration, maintaining accurate employee records, faculty databases, appointment information and confidential HR documentation.
- Prepare management reports, HR analytics, dashboards, presentations, workforce data and manpower reports to support management decision-making and strategic planning.
- Review existing workflows and drive process improvement, operational excellence, digitalisation and administrative efficiency across faculty operations.
- Support policy development, SOP reviews and governance, ensuring compliance with internal policies and relevant requirements.
- Provide guidance and supervision to team members while fostering a collaborative, service-oriented and high-performing work environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or higher qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, Education, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in faculty administration, human resources, people management, or a related field.
- Strong experience managing end-to-end recruitment, performance management, employee engagement, and stakeholder management.
