Full Time Electrical Chargeman Jobs, Salary up to MYR 6,000 in Chemical Industries (Malaya) Sdn. Bhd. Perak - Maukerja

Key Responsibilities

1. Oversee and manage all electrical installations, systems, and equipment within the palm oil mill facility.

2. Conduct daily monitoring and inspection of LV switchboards, busducts, transformers, switchgear, and TNB power supply.

3. Monitor and maintain 11kV/LV switchgears, switchboards, and electrical distribution systems associated with building and mill services.

4. Conduct regular preventive maintenance and inspection of electrical systems, wiring, transformers, motors, control panels, and related equipment.

5. Plan and coordinate electrical maintenance schedules in accordance with production requirements to minimize equipment downtime.

6. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical faults and breakdowns, ensuring reliable operation and minimum interruption to production.

7. Troubleshoot and maintain electrical and mechanical systems including UPS, gensets, chillers, PLC systems, motors, and control systems.

8. Respond promptly to emergency electrical breakdowns and implement appropriate corrective and preventive measures.

9. Supervise junior electrical technicians, electricians, and apprentices, providing technical guidance and on-the-job training.

10. Ensure all electrical maintenance and installation activities comply with Suruhanjaya Tenaga requirements, electrical safety regulations, industry standards, and company safety policies.

11. Conduct electrical risk assessments, identify potential hazards, and implement appropriate control measures to ensure a safe working environment.

12. Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of electrical maintenance, inspections, testing, breakdowns, repairs, and corrective actions.

13. Liaise and coordinate with equipment suppliers, service providers, TNB, and external contractors for major electrical maintenance, installation, testing, and commissioning works.

14. Coordinate electrical works with production and other engineering departments to ensure maintenance activities are carried out safely and efficiently.

15. Prepare and maintain technical documentation, maintenance reports, inspection records, and other relevant electrical documents.

16. Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics; AutoCAD knowledge will be an added advantage.

17. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance electrical system reliability, energy efficiency, equipment availability, and plant safety.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month

Experience:

• Electrical troubleshooting: 5 years (Required)
• 11kV/LV electrical system : 2 years (Required)
• Industrial/heavy-industry : 5 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Electrical Chargeman Certificate, preferably AO/A1/A4 (Required)
