About Nihon M&A Center

Who are we?

Nihon M&A Center Inc. is Japan’s No. 1 Small-Medium Enterprise (SME) Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) advisory firm, supporting business owners, entrepreneurs, and corporate clients through domestic and cross-border M&A transactions. With an expanding presence across Southeast Asia, including Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Thailand, our Singapore office plays a key role in connecting Singapore business owners with international buyers and strategic investors.

Who are we looking for?

Consultant Support Associate Role Overview

We are hiring a proactive and detail-oriented Consultant Support Associate to support our growing M&A team in Singapore. This support role is ideal for someone who enjoys research, coordination, communication, and working in a dynamic international business environment. The successful candidate should ideally have experience in administration, sales support, data entry, research, PowerPoint presentation formatting, and corporate documentation. You will help maintain accurate business and financial information, prepare marketing materials and pitch decks, update internal databases, and ensure smooth coordination and communication among internal stakeholders in a dynamic international business environment. This is not a direct sales role, but the person will play an important supporting role in helping consultants stay organized, follow up effectively, and present information professionally to business owners and potential buyers.

What will you do?

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, update, and organize M&A marketing materials, company profiles, project summaries, information memorandums, pitch books, and internal databases
  • Enter, update, and maintain accurate client, project, financial, and business data in internal systems and databases
  • Format, polish, and create professional corporate presentations, sales decks, teasers, track record materials, and pitch documents using Microsoft PowerPoint and other tools.
  • Provide reliable back-office sales support, including documentation, research, coordination, timely follow-up, and accurate information sharing, with no direct client-facing or sales responsibilities
  • Support business development efforts, including event organization, sales outreach activities, and the coordination of marketing initiatives

What we’re looking for

Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sales support, sales administration, business support, data entry, office administration, or a related back-office coordination role
  • Experience in M&A advisory, banking, finance, corporate finance, professional services, consulting, or a business services environment will be an advantage
  • Basic financial literacy, including the ability to read financial statements and extract relevant business, company, and financial data accurately
  • Strong Microsoft PowerPoint skills, with the ability to format, polish, and produce professional corporate decks, teasers, pitch materials, and presentation documents
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills, including accurate data input, table formatting, document clean-up, and basic spreadsheet review
  • Good desktop research skills, with the ability to search, verify, summarize, and organize information on companies, industries, contacts, and markets
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive company, shareholder, financial, and transaction-related information
  • Comfortable working behind the scenes to support consultants, including managing timelines, reminders, follow-ups, and multiple workstreams at the same time
  • Excellent communication, coordination, research, and organizational skills, with confidence working in an international and multicultural team environment
  • Fluent written and spoken English, with strong attention to detail, accuracy, follow-through, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently
  • Only Singaporeans and PRs will apply this position

If you are a motivated and detail-oriented professional looking to build experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and international business, we would be pleased to hear from you.
