Job Description

• Industry/ Organization Type: Building Construction
• Position Title: Design Manager
• Working Location: Serangoon
• Working Hours: 5.5 days (Mon – Fri: 8.30am – 5.30pm, Sat: 8.30am – 12.30pm)
• Salary Package: Basic + VB
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare façade shop drawings and design sketches.
• Review structural and architectural drawings for design issues or discrepancies.
• Attend design meetings to resolve issues, present design proposals, and prepare meeting minutes.
• Coordinate with clients, main contractors, architects, and consultants on design and technical matters.
• Raise RFIs for design or technical issues when required.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the team.
• Submit shop drawings and follow up on approvals.
• Monitor shop drawing submissions and approval schedules.
• Monitor design changes and additional work scope.
• Support the project team in resolving site issues when required.
• Report to the Design Manager or Team Leader.
• Prepare fabrication drawings.
• Prepare and submit material samples and follow up until approval.

• Minimum 8-years of experience in façade design.
• Familiar with curtain wall systems.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and familiar with Revit, Microsoft Office, and Excel.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to manage tasks and meet project deadlines.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
