ABOUT THE BREAD BAR
The Bread Bar is a contemporary restaurant and artisan bakery inspired by diverse culinary cultures, both local and international.
We bring together artisanal baking, restaurant-quality dining, and thoughtful hospitality, with a focus on good food, craftsmanship and consistency.
FINANCE EXECUTIVE
We're looking for a Finance Executive to support our financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and supplier invoices.
- Record and reconcile bank transactions, sales and payments, including POS transactions where required.
- Assist with General Ledger, journal entries, intercompany transactions and month-end closing.
- Maintain fixed asset records and supporting financial schedules.
- Prepare management accounts and financial reports for management review.
- Assist with tax, SST, audit and statutory compliance matters.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks and other external parties when required.
- Assist in improving finance processes, controls and SOPs as the business grows.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
- Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, or CIMA are an advantage.
- Good understanding of financial reporting, taxation and internal controls.
- Experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO) and SQL Accounting is an advantage.
- F&B, startup or fast-growing business experience is an added advantage.
HR & ADMIN EXECUTIVE
We're looking for an HR & Admin Executive to support our day-to-day people operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support recruitment and pre-employment processes for office and outlet positions.
- Manage employee onboarding, offboarding and employee records.
- Support monthly payroll, attendance, leave, overtime and statutory contributions.
- Assist with employee confirmation, transfers, promotions and other HR matters.
- Support the implementation of HR policies, procedures and compliance with applicable employment laws.
- Assist with employee disciplinary matters and documentation when required.
- Handle general HR and administrative matters and maintain proper documentation.
- Assist in improving HR processes, systems and SOPs as the business grows.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline.
- At least 2–3 years of relevant HR experience.
- Good understanding of employee lifecycle, HR policies and employment practices.
- Experience in payroll and HR systems.
- Good organisational and communication skills.
- F&B, hospitality, retail or other high-volume workforce experience is an added advantage.
