Responsibilities
About the role
Veterinary Assistant position at a broiler breeder farm, responsible for assisting in monitoring and managing the health and biosecurity of the farm operation.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in monitoring and managing the health and biosecurity of farm
- Observe daily flock conditions including mortality, feed and water intake, and bird behaviour
- Support implementation of vaccination, medication, and biosecurity programs according to SOP
- Supervise farm workers to ensure proper handling of birds and compliance with hygiene standards
- Report any health issues or abnormal conditions to management and assist with corrective actions
- Perform other duties as assigned by management from time to time
About you
- Possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Animal Health, Animal Science, or a related field
- Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience is preferred; however, fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
- Willing to work and stay in Selama, Kedah
