A. Operational

1. Coordinates and supervises the overall activities of Radiology Services.

2. Ensure all radiological examinations are carried out to an excellent standard and following correct procedure and that our Radiology.

3. Oversee workflow, staff roster, scheduling of cases and est.

4. Manages of staff working schedules, leave and OT for smooth and efficient work processes.

5. Provides training for radiographers on new protocols and procedures, and evaluations of skill.

6. Ensures the safe and efficient use of radiology equipment, taking action to resolve faults/issues.

7. Handle customer feedback.

8. Provides orientation of new employees about the department/hospital.

9. To develop and/or deliver training programs to new employees on equipment and procedures in the area of operations in alignment with the department’s training objectives and plans.

10. Plan training courses and conference requests from Radiographers.

11. Provide advanced education and teaching and lead departmental audit in the Imaging Department.

12. Involved in Cathlab procedures and cases.

13. Must be able to do oncall.
