Full Time CONSTRUCTION MANAGER Jobs, Salary up to MYR 5,500 in AHT (NORLAN UNITED) & CARRIAGE Perak - Maukerja

1. Project Planning & Management

• Plan and coordinate daily construction activities.
• Develop construction schedules and monitor progress.
• Allocate manpower, equipment, and materials.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager, consultants, client, and subcontractors.
• Identify construction risks and implement mitigation measures.

2. Site Supervision

• Supervise civil works such as:
• Earthworks and excavation
• Foundations and piling
• Reinforced concrete works
• Structural works
• Roads and pavements
• Drainage and sewerage
• Retaining walls
• Infrastructure and external works
• Ensure works follow approved drawings, method statements, and specifications.
• Monitor workmanship and productivity.

3. Quality Control

• Ensure construction complies with project specifications and standards.
• Coordinate inspections and testing.
• Review method statements, ITPs, and material approvals.
• Manage NCRs and ensure corrective actions are completed.
• Coordinate with QA/QC engineers and consultants.

4. Safety & Environmental Management

• Ensure compliance with site HSE requirements.
• Conduct/participate in toolbox meetings and site inspections.
• Identify unsafe activities and implement corrective measures.
• Ensure proper housekeeping, access, excavation safety, lifting operations, etc.
• Monitor environmental requirements.

5. Subcontractor Management

• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors.
• Monitor subcontractor performance, manpower, equipment, and progress.
• Resolve technical and site issues.
• Verify completed work for progress claims.

6. Materials & Resources

• Plan material requirements based on construction schedules.
• Coordinate procurement and delivery.
• Monitor material usage and prevent wastage.
• Ensure availability of machinery and equipment.

7. Cost & Progress Control

• Monitor project progress against the approved schedule.
• Control construction costs and avoid unnecessary expenditure.
• Review quantities and completed works.
• Assist with variation orders, claims, and extension-of-time submissions.

8. Technical & Documentation

• Review construction drawings and identify discrepancies.
• Coordinate RFI/technical queries with consultants.
• Review shop drawings and construction details.
• Maintain daily reports, progress records, inspection records, and other site documentation.
• Ensure as-built information is properly recorded.

9. Coordination & Meetings

• Attend progress, technical, coordination, and site meetings.
• Coordinate between civil, structural, architectural, M&E, and other disciplines.
• Communicate project requirements to engineers, supervisors, and workers.
• Report progress, delays, risks, and major issues to senior managemen

Pay: From RM5,500.00 per month
