Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Sports Department Intern to join our team from September to December 2026. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in school sports management, coaching, event organisation, student supervision, and sports programme delivery.

The intern will work closely with the Sports Department, teachers, and coaches to support the planning and implementation of sports activities, training sessions, and major school events.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Sports Department in planning, organising, and conducting sports activities and programmes.
• Support coaches and teachers during sports training, practices, and student activities.
• Assist with the supervision and management of students during sports sessions and events.
• Support the preparation and setup of sports equipment, facilities, activity areas, and schedules.
• Assist in the planning and implementation of major school events, including:
• Games Carnival
• Sports for All
• Annual Sports Day
• Cempaka Journey
• CAS Bronze Expedition & Annual Campori
• Assist with event registration, student participation, logistics, and general event coordination.
• Support the Sports Department in ensuring that all sports activities and events are conducted safely and smoothly.
• Assist in maintaining and organising sports equipment and facilities before and after activities.
• Assist with administrative tasks, documentation, attendance records, and other sports-related duties as required.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, coaches, students, and other school staff.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Sports Department.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Sports Science, Sports Management, Physical Education, Exercise Science, or a related field.
• Passionate about sports, physical activities, and working with students.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Responsible, organised, proactive, and willing to learn.
• Able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Willing to participate in school activities and major school events.
• Previous experience in coaching, sports events, or working with students will be an advantage.
