Responsibilities
Basic information:
6 days work week, 44hrs/week
Gross UP $2600
Location: Sunview Road
Job Scope:
Conduct visual inspections of incoming produce for freshness, decay, pests and physical damage against quality standards.
Verify product labeling, weight, quantity, expiry dates and packing dates for compliance.
Monitor and record temperatures of incoming shipments to ensure cold chain requirements are maintained.
Compare product characteristics against established internal specifications and quality standards.
Conduct final quality inspections before dispatch to ensure only compliant products are delivered to stores.
Assist with product trials and quality monitoring of outgoing stock.
Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation through digital or manual systems.
Identify, segregate and label non-conforming products, ensuring proper placement in designated hold areas.
Maintain cleanliness and comply with HACCP and food safety requirements within the inspection area.
Additional Information:
Able to stand for 8hrs
