Full Time Senior Python Software Engineer (Platform Services) Jobs, Salary up to SGD 13,000 in PATHSOURCE CONSULTING PTE. LTD. Southeast (Singapore) - Maukerja

The client is a Singapore-based data consultancy seeking a hands-on Senior Infrastructure Engineer to deploy and operate the ingestion and distributed-storage layer of a large-scale on-premise data platform.

This is an initial six-month contract, with the potential for extension or conversion to a permanent position based on business requirements and individual performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build production-grade platform services, APIs and reusable Python libraries.
• Develop authentication and authorisation integrations using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect and role-based access control.
• Implement secure identity propagation across distributed platform components and services.
• Build and maintain Model Context Protocol endpoints and related service integrations.
• Containerise services using Docker and deploy and operate them on Kubernetes.
• Integrate platform services with data, infrastructure, observability and security components.
• Write automated tests, technical documentation and maintainable deployment procedures.
• Troubleshoot service reliability, security, integration and production-performance issues.
• Work directly with technical stakeholders and contribute as a senior individual contributor.

Requirements

• Minimum six years of hands-on software, backend or platform-engineering experience.
• Advanced Python experience, including building custom libraries, packages, SDKs or reusable platform components.
• Proven experience developing production APIs, backend services or microservices.
• Strong hands-on experience with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, RBAC and identity propagation.
• Production experience with both Docker and Kubernetes is mandatory.
• Strong software-engineering practices covering testing, version control, CI/CD, security and documentation.
• Experience deploying services in on-premise or hybrid environments.
• Ability to work independently, solve ambiguous technical problems and communicate effectively with client stakeholders.
• Willingness to accept a six-to-twelve-month contract and attend client locations when required.

Preferred Experience

• Experience building or integrating Model Context Protocol endpoints.
• Exposure to platform observability, policy enforcement and secure service-to-service communication.
• Experience delivering platform products within regulated or security-sensitive environments.

This is a product-engineering role focused on Python platform services. It is not primarily an ETL, business-intelligence, analytics or data-pipeline position.
