Staffing / Recruitment

• Relentlessly develop your team members’ capabilities and continuously engage them so that they are able to assist you with meeting M.Y World’s expectations of your team
• Role model and lead your team in partnering pillars, clusters and centres to understand their staffing needs, co-design a staffing plan and to determine the optimal budget to realize the staffing plan
• Role model and lead your team to effectively and efficiently source for candidates who are aligned with our organization’s capability needs and Core Values, manage the end-to-end recruitment process with hiring managers, and onboard candidates in a way that accelerate their assimilation into our M.Y World’s family
• Role model and lead your team in collaborating with other M.Y World’s pillars and external agencies like NIEC, e2i, WSG in optimizing our employer branding efforts and participating in career fairs and other outreach activities to build the short term and longer term talent pipeline for M.Y World
• Leverage PTE’s Employee Engagement Manager (EEM) in communicating our employee value proposition to candidates, and maximize our attractiveness as an employer, and partnering with EEM to maintain appropriate contact with former employees (Alumni) and maximize chances of rehiring those who possess capabilities we need and whose personal values are aligned with our Core Values
• Continually ensure that our Staffing / Recruitment philosophy, frameworks, policies and processes are consistent with and reinforce our Core Values, support our Culture Building efforts and are aligned with our Vision and Mission
• Keep abreast of local laws and regulations as well as global developments that will impact staffing, trends and best practices in recruitment, then selecting those that meet M.Y World’s needs and adapt for execution

Employee Relations, Investigations and Grievance Handling

• Partner with PTE’s Employee Engagement Manager (EEM) in supporting our Reporting Officers to continuously engage employees, manage relationships with them and handle their grievances
• Drive investigations and lead our inquiry efforts into employees who may have or have acted inconsistently with M.Y World’s Code of Conduct, Core Values, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) or directives from their Reporting Officers

Support overall PTE and M.Y World's Objectives

• Partner with other PTE managers in meeting or exceeding Key Performance Indicators set by Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA) for M.Y World to maintain our Anchor Operator status
• Help develop strategies and coordinate execution of plans, eg. new HRMS, so that PTE better supports other pillars’ KPIs and reinforces MYW’s longer term business sustainability
• Support other PTE teams, eg Compensation & Benefits (C&B) team for their annual performance reviews and increment / bonus exercises; organize or assist in organizing PTE activities like New Leaders’ Induction and HR Orientation
• Undertakes any other tasks assigned

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree, preferably in Human Resource (HR) or related disciplines. Diploma holders with a passion for people and an aptitude for HR work are also welcomed to apply
• At least 8-10 years of work experience, and preferably devoted more than 4-5 years leading a recruitment team that also takes care of employee relations in an organization with more than 1000 employees
• Experience in other human resources disciplines will be advantageous. Non-HR practitioners looking to pivot your career into HR are welcomed to apply, so long as you possess the attributes we are looking for
