Responsibilities
A semiconductor device assembler
builds, tests, and inspects microchips, hardware components, and integrated circuits according to precise engineering specifications
Key Responsibilities
Component Assembly:
Position, align, and secure microchips, wiring, and mechanical parts using hand tools or automated machinery.
Quality Control:
Conduct visual, dimensional, and functional checks to catch defects and ensure parts meet exact standards.
Documentation:
Record test results and output data accurately in production logs or manufacturing execution systems (MES).
Process Compliance:
Follow strict safety rules, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and cleanroom protocols.
Troubleshooting:
Report equipment issues, testing failures, or product abnormalities to supervisors or engineers.
