ROLE OVERVIEW
The
Service Crew
is responsible for delivering warm, attentive and efficient service to every guest.
As a key member of the Front-of-House team, you will look after guests throughout their dining experience — from welcoming and taking orders to serving food and beverages, responding to requests and ensuring tables and guest areas are always well maintained.
We are looking for individuals who are
friendly, energetic, responsible and genuinely enjoy hospitality
. Experience is an advantage, but attitude, initiative and willingness to learn are equally important.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Guest Service & Experience
Welcome and attend to guests in a warm, friendly and professional manner.
Provide attentive service throughout the guest's visit.
Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
Serve food and beverages according to the restaurant's service standards.
Check on guests regularly and anticipate their needs wherever possible.
Respond promptly to guest requests and special requirements.
Thank guests upon departure and help create a positive lasting impression.
Menu & Product Knowledge
Maintain good knowledge of the restaurant's food and beverage offerings.
Explain menu items, ingredients, promotions and specials confidently.
Provide recommendations based on guest preferences.
Be familiar with common dietary requirements and communicate allergies or special requests clearly to the kitchen.
Keep updated on new menu items, promotions and events.
Suggestive Selling
Recommend suitable food, beverages, desserts and additional items based on guest preferences.
Identify opportunities to enhance the guest experience through appropriate recommendations.
Support the restaurant in achieving revenue targets without using aggressive or uncomfortable selling techniques.
Restaurant & Bar Operations
Set up tables, service stations and guest areas before operations.
Ensure tables are properly presented and ready for guests.
Clear and reset tables efficiently.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of dining and service areas throughout operations.
Assist with opening and closing duties.
Replenish glassware, cutlery, condiments and operating supplies as required.
Process bills and payments accurately when assigned.
Handle restaurant equipment and company property responsibly.
Teamwork & Communication
Work closely with the kitchen, bar, hosts, guest relations team and fellow service crew.
Communicate orders, allergies, dietary requirements and special requests accurately.
Assist teammates during busy periods without waiting to be asked.
Maintain clear communication with supervisors regarding guest feedback or operational issues.
Support VIP tables, private events, corporate functions and special activations when required.
Guest Feedback & Service Recovery
Listen to guest feedback and respond professionally.
Resolve simple guest requests or concerns wherever possible.
Escalate complaints or serious service issues promptly to the Supervisor or Manager.
Never argue with guests and maintain professionalism in difficult situations.
Inform Management of recurring feedback that may help improve the guest experience.
Hygiene, Grooming & Standards
Maintain excellent personal grooming and uniform standards at all times.
Follow company service procedures and operating standards.
Comply with food hygiene, workplace safety and responsible alcohol service requirements.
Maintain a clean and hygienic working environment.
Ensure guest-facing areas remain presentable throughout operations.
REQUIREMENTS

Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Able to stand for extended periods and perform normal restaurant service duties.

Previous restaurant, bar or hospitality experience is an advantage but
not required
.
Training will be provided.
