Role Description The Club Manager role at Anytime Fitness in Petaling Jaya is a full-time, on-site position responsible for the daily operations and performance of the club. The Club Manager oversees membership sales, member onboarding, and ongoing engagement to ensure a welcoming and results-focused environment. This role includes supervising and scheduling staff, managing front-desk and customer service activities, and coordinating with personal trainers and coaches to deliver a high-quality member experience. The Club Manager is accountable for achieving revenue and membership growth targets, implementing marketing initiatives, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and equipment maintenance. The position also involves handling administrative tasks such as reporting, budgeting support, and compliance with company policies and local regulations.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in fitness, hospitality, retail, or customer-facing management roles, with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
  • Strong skills in sales, member relationship management, and basic marketing activities to drive club growth and retention.
  • Solid organizational, administrative, and problem-solving skills, including experience with scheduling, reporting, and basic budgeting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport, handle feedback, and resolve member concerns professionally.
  • Ability to work on-site in Petaling Jaya, including flexibility for peak hours, evenings, weekends, and special events as required.
  • Comfort with using club management software, standard office applications, and digital tools for tracking performance and member activity.
  • Passion for health, fitness, and helping others achieve their wellness goals; prior experience in a gym or health club environment is an advantage.
  • Diploma or degree in business, sports science, hospitality, or a related field is preferred, but relevant experience will be strongly considered.
