Role Description The Safety Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Port Dickson. This position is responsible for overseeing daily safety practices on roofing and cladding project sites, including conducting site safety inspections, identifying hazards, and ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. The role involves organizing and delivering safety briefings and toolbox talks, monitoring the use of personal protective equipment, and coordinating emergency preparedness measures. The Safety Supervisor will investigate incidents and near-misses, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Collaboration with project managers, site supervisors, and workers is required to promote a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement of health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Health & Safety and Occupational Health, including knowledge of relevant regulations and industry best practices.
• Proficiency in Safety Training, with experience planning and delivering safety inductions, toolbox talks, and ongoing awareness programs.
• Skills in Safety Engineering, particularly in assessing work methods, equipment, and site layouts to reduce risk and improve safety performance.
• Experience in Accident Investigation, including root cause analysis, documentation, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Relevant certification or diploma in occupational safety, environmental health, engineering, or a related field; professional safety credentials are an advantage.
• Experience in construction or roofing/cladding projects, with familiarity in working at height and associated safety requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse site teams and influence safe work behaviors.
• Ability to maintain accurate safety records, use basic digital tools for reporting, and manage multiple site activities with attention to detail.
