About the Role

We are looking for an experienced AI Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, integrating and deploying AI-powered solutions, with a strong focus on LLMs, NLP, AI pipelines and scalable AI architectures.

This role is suitable for an engineer who enjoys working with emerging AI technologies and can turn AI concepts into reliable, production-ready solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy AI-powered applications and solutions.
• Develop solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs), NLP and semantic models.
• Fine-tune and evaluate LLMs, including analysing model quality, limitations and failure modes.
• Build automated AI pipelines covering training, testing, deployment and monitoring.
• Develop and integrate LLM-based applications and services.
• Build and integrate REST APIs and backend services.
• Work with structured and unstructured data using SQL/NoSQL technologies.
• Develop scalable data and AI architectures.
• Work with cloud platforms and containerised environments.
• Support GPU orchestration and optimise AI infrastructure and costs.
• Implement CI/CD and DevOps practices for AI applications.
• Monitor and troubleshoot AI solutions to ensure reliability and performance.
• Stay updated with the latest AI technologies and incorporate relevant advancements into solutions.
• Work closely with customers, stakeholders and technical teams to understand requirements and deliver practical AI solutions.

Must-Have Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in AI Engineering, Machine Learning, Data Engineering or related fields.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, NLP or semantic models.
• Experience with LLM fine-tuning and evaluation.
• Understanding of model quality, performance and failure modes.
• Experience building automated AI pipelines for training, testing, deployment and monitoring.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerisation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build robust, reliable and maintainable software solutions.
• Strong communication and customer-focused approach.

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
