Job Description

• Industry/ Organization Type: Chemical and Manufacturing industry
• Position Title: Technical Admin cum Maintenance Support
• Working Location: Tanjong Penjuru (Company transportation provided)
• Working Hours: 5 days (Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
• Salary Package: Basic Salary + AWS + Allowances + OT Pay + Medical Benefits
• Duration: Permanent Role

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with troubleshooting systems and production equipment and carry out repairs under close supervision.
• Request components and supplies for projects and maintenance and obtain pricing and product information from vendors.
• Coordinate with external contractors for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance work.
• Assist the Manager with document filing and inventory records for equipment, tools and spare parts.
• Maintain records for utility contracts, including cargo lifts, fire alarms, chillers, compressors and air-conditioning servicing.
• Carry out emergency repairs during production and scheduled maintenance during plant shutdowns.
• Identify safety issues and potential hazards to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations and standards.
• Support the implementation of the company’s ISO certification programme.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Professional Certificate, NITEC or Higher NITEC in Mechanical, Electrical or a related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
• At least 2 years of experience in a plant operations environment.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure.
