Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Clerk role located in Cheras Selangor, Malaysia. The Clerk will provide administrative and clerical support to conveyancing lawyers and other staff, including preparing and organizing documents, photocopying, scanning, filing, and maintaining case records. Daily tasks include managing incoming and outgoing mail, handling phone calls, scheduling appointments, and coordinating basic office logistics. The role may involve assisting with simple court documentation, data entry, and updating client information in firm systems. The Clerk will also support general office operations to ensure smooth day-to-day functioning and a professional environment for clients.

Qualifications

• Strong administrative and clerical skills, including document preparation, filing, and data entry.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, email) and office equipment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
• Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Positive work attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn and follow established procedures.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Prior experience in an office or legal environment is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Minimum secondary education; further relevant qualifications or coursework in administration or law are beneficial.
