Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Alor Setar for a Socioeconomic Analyst/Personal Assistant to the Executive Director. The role combines analytical responsibilities with executive support, including collecting and analyzing socioeconomic data, preparing reports, and developing briefings for the Executive Director. Daily tasks include coordinating meetings, handling correspondence, and maintaining organized records and documentation. The position also involves drafting presentations, supporting project coordination, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring the Executive Director is prepared with relevant information for decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Strong Personal Assistance and Executive Administrative Assistance skills, including experience supporting senior leadership.
  • Effective Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficient Diary Management and scheduling abilities, with attention to detail and time management.
  • Solid Clerical Skills, including document preparation, filing, record-keeping, and basic office administration.
  • Background or strong interest in socioeconomic analysis, public policy, economics, or related fields.
  • Ability to analyze data, prepare concise reports, and translate findings into clear briefings.
  • Proficiency with office software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, presentation tools) and digital communication platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills, discretion with confidential information, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, economics, public administration, business, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Prior experience in an analytical, administrative, or executive support role is an advantage.
