Review and approve vessel electrical, automation, and digitalization designs so newbuilds and conversions meet owner requirements, Class rules, IMO regulations, and flag-state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee new-building electrical design and engineering against client, IMO, and flag-state requirements
• Review vendor and designer specifications and drawings for compliance with owner and classification society standards
• Liaise with shipyards, Class, vendors, and construction teams on engineering and design issues
• Compare tender vessel requirements against existing or new-building specifications
• Support electrical, automation, and digitalization systems through design and construction

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or a related field
• At least 5 years’ relevant experience, ideally with a shipyard, designer, or classification society
• Background in marine electrical systems, automation, and digitalization
