Job Description

  • Responsible for ensuring that the Company’s accounting records are properly maintained in accordance with statutory and regulatory requirements and applicable accounting standards, and are complete, accurate, and up to date
  • Ensure that accounting reports and variance analyses are prepared and submitted monthly, quarterly and yearly within the specified timeframe
  • Prepare management accounts, general ledger entries and supporting schedules
  • Prepare, process, and submit e-Invoices through the relevant e-invoicing system, ensuring all submissions are accurate, complete, and made within the required timelines
  • Ensure timely compliance with corporate tax obligations including tax estimates, tax returns, tax payments, tax refunds, MITRS and monitoring changes to Malaysian tax legislation
  • Prepare and maintain of transfer pricing documentation
  • Maintain the Group related party transaction register
  • Cash flow management
  • Assist in the annual statutory audit, including the preparation of the Annual Report, supporting schedules and MBRS submission
  • To support in treasury, banking facilities related matters and fund management functions including but not limited to processing of payments, fund transfer, placements, disbursement of financing, drawdown, rollover and etc
  • To perform change of signatories, opening/closing of bank accounts and any other bank accounts related matters
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors, tax agents, solicitors, bankers, company secretaries, and other professional advisers and regulatory authorities on finance, accounting, taxation, and corporate matters
  • Assist in Group consolidation, budget and forecast, where required
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting workflows, reporting and internal controls
  • Provide guidance to the finance team to ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing of accounts
  • Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by superior from time to time

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline and/or professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent
  • Minimum 6–10 years of relevant experience
  • Good in time management, able to prioritise, deliver high-quality work within strict deadlines and in a fast-paced environment
  • Accountable, accepting absolute responsibility for all tasks assigned
  • Adaptable to change and can be depended upon to complete the assignments conscientiously with minimum supervision
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and Malaysian taxation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with Bursa Malaysia reporting requirements is highly desirable.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
