Responsibilities
4+ years of experience in Java, XML/JSON, FIX Protocol, QuickFIX/QuickFIX-J, Java, XML/JSON integrations, and trading platform support
, who can engage with counterparties, support vendor products, work in OpenShift environments, and deliver under aggressive timelines for GFM and Wealth Management initiatives.
Mandatory Skills & Experience
Core Technical Skills
- Minimum 4+ years of hands-on software development and support experience.
- Strong proficiency in Java development for enterprise applications.
- Strong Linux/Unix administration and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with shell scripting (Bash, Korn Shell, Python, or equivalent scripting languages).
- Experience developing and supporting:
- High-throughput applications
- Distributed systems
- Scalable and resilient solutions
- Strong understanding of application performance tuning and optimization.
- Experience troubleshooting production issues and performing root cause analysis.
- Familiarity with relational databases and SQL.
Trading & Integration Domain - Knowledge of FIX Protocol (FIX 4.x / FIX 5.x).
- Experience onboarding and supporting external connectivity with brokers, trading venues, exchanges, and counterparties.
- Understanding of trade lifecycle, trade execution, and post-trade workflows.
- Experience with commercial FIX engines, gateways, or electronic trading platforms.
