Join a one-month contract opportunity to shape the online presence of a dark literary brand specializing in psychological and supernatural horror, grief, trauma, tarot, and taboo fiction. You will collaborate closely to transform original writing, book and audiobook reviews, and digital products into compelling social content that resonates with a niche audience and drives engagement and sales. This role requires sensitivity to mature themes, a creative approach to visual storytelling, and the ability to adapt content strategies based on performance insights and launches.

Deliverables

• Develop a weekly content calendar tailored to Instagram and Facebook, ensuring at least seven posts per week.
• Produce a mix of short-form reels, story-driven or promotional carousels, and high-impact visuals aligned with the brand’s tone and themes.
• Create original footage or imagery as needed, incorporating hooks, retention strategies, calls to action, and maximizing share, save, and rewatch value.
• Adapt and optimize content based on analytics, feedback, and evolving campaign needs.
• Collaborate on concepts, revisions, and approvals, ensuring all content meets brand standards before publishing.
• Optionally, extend content reach to platforms such as TikTok, Pinterest, Threads, or Etsy to support product promotion.
  
  

Requirements

• Proven experience creating and managing social content for literary, dark, or niche creative brands.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in visual storytelling, short-form video, and carousel design.
• Proficiency with Instagram and Facebook content formats, algorithms, and engagement tactics.
• Ability to handle mature, sensitive, and taboo subject matter with professionalism and nuance.
• Skilled in content planning, analytics interpretation, and adapting strategies for optimal performance.
• Experience with additional platforms (TikTok, Pinterest, Threads, Etsy) is a plus.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and revision skills.
