Job Description
Prepare detailed
cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQ), budgets, and tender documents
.
Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents to identify scope and cost requirements.
Obtain, evaluate and negotiate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
Assist with tender preparation, bid analysis, and subcontractor selection.
Manage variation orders, progress claims, subcontractor claims and final accounts.
Monitor project costs, budgets, variations, and financial commitments.
Assist with contract administration and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, architects, contractors, subcontractors, and clients.
Maintain accurate records of costs, contracts, variations, and commercial correspondence.
Perform other related QS duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in
Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering
, or a related field.
Minimum 3-years experience in Quantity Surveying experience in Singapore.
Excellent analytical, negotiation and communication skills.
Experience preparing BOQs, quantity take-offs, claims, variation orders and final accounts.
Experience with Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD
Good communication skills and ability to work independently under minimal supervision, good knowledge in local standards & requirements.
