Job Description

Responsibilities

1. To maintain statutory records and company secretarial documents in compliance with legal requirements.

2. To support board and shareholders’ meetings by preparing meeting notices, agendas, resolutions, and minutes.

3. To provide advisory support on corporate governance matters and recommend compliance best practices.

4. To liaise professionally with internal and external stakeholders, regulatory authorities, and clients.

5. To stay updated with changes in relevant laws and regulations and implement appropriate policies and procedures accordingly.

6. To assist in routine secretarial duties and general administrative tasks.

7. To prepare resolutions, meeting minutes, and other corporate documents accurately and efficiently.

8. To perform other ad-hoc clerical and administrative duties as required.

9. Advise on business restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, sound corporate governance.

10. To ensures the Company abide by the rules and regulation imposed by the Government not only under the Companies Act 2016, but also other requirements such as the Tax Act, licences, EPF, SOCSO, and so on.

11. To carry out any other tasks or responsibilities as assigned by the Management from time to time.

Requirements:-

  • Candidate must possess at least an Advanced Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, or Professional Degree in Corporate Administration, Corporate Management, or any other related field.
  • A person licensed by the Companies Commission of Malaysia under Section 20G of the Companies Commission of Malaysia Act 2001 or a member of any one of the professional bodies prescribed by the Ministry of Domestic Trade, Cooperative and Consumerism
  • Candidate must possess at least an Bachelor’s Degree, or Professional Degree in Law, Corporate Administration, Corporate Management, or any other related field.
  • Possess professional certification through bodies like the Chartered Governance Institute (CGI) or by having a degree in law, management, or accounting combined with sufficient relevant work experience, as is the case in Malaysia where you must be a member of a recognized professional body like the Malaysian Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (MAICSA)
  • At least 3 years relevant working experience

Pay: RM1,453.33 - RM6,787.09 per month
