Job Description

Responsibilities

Requirement

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA Australia, ICAEW, CIMA, MICPA, or equivalent).
  • Professional qualification or membership will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in related fields such as preparation of financial statements and account closing.
  • Experience in the property development or construction industry will be an added advantage.
  • Good working knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards and tax laws.
  • Good understanding of cash flow and performance projections, treasury and dealings with banks.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts for assigned companies, including comprehensive notes, supporting schedules, commentaries, project cost tabulations, and Percentage of Completion (POC) computations.
  • Preparation of annual statutory financial statements, including drafting statutory accounts with complete notes and supporting schedules for audit, and finalising the accounts for execution thereafter.
  • Coordinate with auditors and provide the necessary information and supporting documents for audit matters.
  • Process periodic and ad hoc payments, and regularly monitor outstanding collections with the Sales Administration team.
  • Assist with tax computations, tax estimates, instalment payments, tax refunds and other tax-related matters, including transfer pricing documentation.
  • Monthly computation of tax charges/credits, preparation of tax estimates and revised estimates, monitoring of tax instalments, and follow-up on tax refunds and other taxation matters, including transfer pricing documentation.
  • Assist in the preparation of the annual budget, financial reports and presentation materials for management and Directors' meetings.
  • Liaise with tax agents, Company Secretaries, solicitors, and other professional advisers as required.
  • Assist in preparing and providing information for the submission of periodic reports to the Kementerian Perumahan dan Kerajaan Tempatan (KPKT).
  • Attend to Group-level assignments, including the compilation of Group receivables, payables, tax positions, and responses for annual banking reviews relating to the Group's banking facilities.
  • Assist in the consolidation of Group financial accounts and other ad hoc finance assignments.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
