Responsibilities
We are a preschool in Bishan seeking a dedicated and qualified
L2 English Preschool Teacher
to join our team.
The successful candidate will play an important role in providing a nurturing, engaging and developmentally appropriate learning environment for young children, while working closely with fellow educators, centre leaders and families.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and conduct age-appropriate lessons and learning experiences in accordance with the centre’s curriculum and educational philosophy
Create a safe, nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that supports children’s holistic development
Facilitate children’s learning through purposeful play, inquiry and exploration
Observe, assess and document children’s learning and developmental progress
Build positive and professional relationships with children and their families
Communicate regularly with parents on their child’s progress and well-being
Collaborate effectively with fellow educators and centre management
Participate in centre events, celebrations, excursions and other school activities
Maintain high standards of classroom organisation, safety, hygiene and care
Support the centre in upholding relevant regulatory and operational requirements
Requirements
ECDA-certified L2 English Teacher
Relevant Early Childhood qualification recognised by ECDA
Strong command of spoken and written English
Genuine passion for early childhood education
Warm, patient and nurturing disposition
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Responsible, organised and able to work effectively as part of a team
Committed to professional growth and building a long-term career within the early childhood sector
