A corporate secretarial executive manages legal compliance, maintains official company records, and coordinates board meetings for an organization or its clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Statutory Compliance: File annual returns and register changes in directors or share allocations with regulatory bodies.
- Record Keeping: Maintain up-to-date statutory registers, including lists of shareholders, directors, and company charges.
- Meeting Management: Schedule board meetings and Annual General Meetings (AGMs), prepare agendas, and write official minutes.
- Governance Support: Help the board follow corporate governance rules and understand their legal duties.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as a bridge between the board of directors, management, and shareholders.
Common Requirements
- Education: A bachelor's degree in corporate administration, business administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Usually 2 to 3 years of working experience in a secretarial practice or corporate environment.
- Knowledge: Understanding of local company laws, regulatory guidelines, and listing requirements.
- Skills: Strong communication abilities, high attention to detail, and proficiency in office software and secretarial databases
Pay: RM1,200.00 - RM1,700.00 per month
