Job Description:
The IBM TM1 Application Administrator is responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing the IBM TM1 (now IBM Planning Analytics) environment. This role involves overseeing system administration, user access management, and performance tuning to ensure reliable and efficient operation. The administrator will collaborate with business users and IT teams to support planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer and maintain the IBM TM1/Planning Analytics environment, including server setup, configuration, and upgrades.
Manage user access, security groups, and role-based permissions.
Monitor system performance and implement optimizations to enhance efficiency.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
Support data integration processes, including ETL development and data validation.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement system enhancements.
Develop and maintain documentation for system configuration and processes.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in TM1 Turbo Integrator (TI) Processes
Create new or enhance an existing TM1 Excel Templates with Macro-VBA and Action Buttons
Perform monthly server maintenance (e.g. install windows server patches)
Skills and Qualifications:
Strong experience with IBM TM1/Planning Analytics administration and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of TM1 Rules, TI processes, and cube design.
Familiarity with data integration tools and scripting (e.g., SQL, Python).
Understanding of financial planning and analysis (FP&A) concepts is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
