Job Summary

• Job Title: Supplier Quality Engineer

• Industry: Semiconductor / Electronics Testing

• Location: Serangoon, Singapore

• Working Hours: 5 days/week, 8:30am–5:30pm

• Benefits: AWS + Performance Bonus + Overtime

Main Responsibilities

• Conducting technical assessments for new suppliers and periodic assessments for key existing suppliers.

• Driving suppliers to implement continuous improvement plans and meet quality requirements.

• Reviewing material specifications and validating defects / non-conformities for supplier return and replacement.

• Working with suppliers on 8D corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.

• Collaborating with Suppliers, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to resolve material quality issues.

• Maintaining supplier databases and performance evaluations / scoring.

• Supporting and guiding Incoming Quality Inspectors on inspection processes and methods.

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of Supplier Quality experience.
• Experience with mechanical parts or PCBA; candidates with experience in both are preferred.
• Good knowledge of quality and problem-solving tools, including:

• 8D

• Pareto Analysis

• 5 Whys

• FMEA

• Quality Control Plan

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Independent, proactive, willing to learn, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable working with diverse cultures and suppliers.
