Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, and student-focused Part-Time PE Teacher to join our international school community. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging Physical Education lessons that develop students’ physical skills, confidence, teamwork, sportsmanship, and healthy lifestyle habits.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with students from diverse cultural backgrounds and able to create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons appropriate to students’ age, ability, and developmental needs.
• Teach a range of sports, physical activities, fitness, and movement skills.
• Encourage students to develop teamwork, resilience, confidence, and sportsmanship.
• Differentiate activities to support students with varying abilities and learning needs.
• Assess and monitor students’ progress in physical development and participation.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive environment during all PE activities.
• Ensure appropriate use, care, and storage of sports equipment and facilities.
• Support school sports events, competitions, tournaments, and extracurricular activities where required.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues, students, and parents when appropriate.
• Contribute to the wider school community and uphold the school’s values and safeguarding expectations.
• Maintain accurate records of lesson plans, student progress, and assessments as required.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, Education, or a related field.
• Teaching qualification or relevant teaching certification is preferred.
• Previous experience teaching PE, preferably in an international or multicultural school environment.
• Strong knowledge of a range of sports and physical activities.
• Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom-management skills.
• Ability to motivate and engage students of different ages and abilities.
• Commitment to student wellbeing, safeguarding, and inclusive education.
• First Aid/CPR certification is an advantage.
• A positive, energetic, flexible, and collaborative approach.

Pay: RM35.00 - RM50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5.0 – 10.0 per week

Work Location: In person
