Full Time Warehouse Supervisor Jobs, in Rapid Manufacturing Kedah - Maukerja

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Excellent opportunity for a dynamic person to join a cable manufacturing company as a Warehouse Supervisor in Kulim, Malaysia. The successful candidate will manage and measure daily warehouse operations, strategically plan and execute warehouse activities, and support production requirement.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Daily job responsibilities/functions to include, but not limited to:

1. Ensure continuous flow of work and compliance with production schedules according to specifications.
2. Manage and monitor warehouse department KPIs to support operational performance.
3. Plan, coordinate, schedule and monitor movement of materials throughout the warehouse.
4. Direct and manage physical inventory activities and cycle counts to meet inventory accuracy objectives.
5. Recruit, train, monitor and review the performance and progress of warehouse staff.
6. Assist in developing plans and programmes for process improvement. • Plan and execute current and future warehouse capacity requirements.
7. Ensure staff compliance with Quality Management System requirements and work procedures.
8. Implement periodic internal audits to ensure warehouse policies and procedures are followed and documentation is maintained professionally.
9. Coordinate employee training including personal safety, forklift safety, warehouse policies, procedures and SOPs.
10. Work with transportation and parcel companies to reduce shipping costs and improve delivery efficiency.
11. Monitor critical supplies required for day-to-day warehouse operations.
12. Organise teamwork to ensure productivity targets are met.
13. Oversee stock control and order processing activities.
14. Maintain high standards of customer service with a strong sense of urgency.
15. Manage warehouse layout, space utilisation and storage arrangement.
16. Ensure warehouse cleanliness, housekeeping and workplace safety standards are maintained.
17. Perform any other duties as assigned by the Management.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience:

1. Minimum 3 to 5 years of warehouse management or warehouse operations experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
2. Experience in inventory control, cycle count, material movement, stock accuracy and warehouse process improvement.
3. Exposure to Management, Lean Manufacturing and/or 5S practices will be an added advantage.

Skills:

1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
2. Detail-oriented with strong organisational and follow-up skills.
3. Ability to multitask, prioritise and work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
4. Strong problem-solving ability, including analysing issues, presenting facts, making recommendations and implementing solutions.
5. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel is preferred.
6. Familiar with corrective actions, warehouse procedures and documentation control.
7. Able to lead, coach and motivate warehouse team members to achieve operational targets.
8. Able to act in an ethical and truthful manner, leading by example and earning the respect and trust of co-workers, customers and stakeholders.
9. Self-starter who is flexible, adaptive, result-driven and able to take initiative with minimal supervision.
10. Able to deliver commitments and produce quality work in a timely and effective manner.
11. Able to communicate in English. Additional language ability will be an added advantage.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field is preferred.
