Job Summary

Manage accounting and payroll functions for client portfolios, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and preparing financial statements and tax returns under Singapore Financial Reporting Standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage full or partial sets of accounts, GST, and compliance matters for client portfolios
• Administer accounting tasks to maintain accurate financial records for clients
• Execute full payroll functions including payroll computation, CPF contributions, and IR8A tax submissions for clients
• Process vendor payments in accordance with client policies and statutory regulations
• Prepare compilation financial statements compliant with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards
• Prepare income tax returns and respond to enquiries from clients and the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS)
• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned to support client and firm needs

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar accounting or payroll role
• Experience handling full sets of accounts is preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office applications with strong organizational skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving skills to address accounting and compliance issues
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and work independently in a fast-paced environment
