Responsibilities
Due to upcoming key project requirements, PM Group Singapore is looking to hire a Senior Cost Engineer/Estimator to join our team.
Primary Job Functions
Cost Reporting of capital expenditure projects (equipment & construction) including PM Group fees and sub-consultants
Management of our Change Control procedures and tools and associated deliverables
Management of our PM Group Man-hour Control and Productivity Measurement procedures and tools and associated deliverables
Processing Contractor, Vendor and Sub-consultant invoices and payments for multiple Projects
Receive, sort and reconcile invoices and supporting documentation against purchase order terms and conditions, payment milestones and goods receipt notifications
Distribute and track invoices to various Project owners / leads across multiple projects for approval
Perform Supplier account reconciliations and work with Purchasing Team and Suppliers to resolve any issues
Responds to and resolve enquiries from Suppliers, Procurement, and Finance departments in a professional and timely manner
Preparation of monthly statements and reconciliation of accounts for month end Reporting
Take ownership of designated tasks and projects as assigned.
Requirements
Degree in Engineering or Quantity Surveying, preferably with relevant experience in cost estimation of cost control.
Ability to regularly interact with staff, management and clients to provide or obtain key information
Proficient with Microsoft Excel
Strong work ethic, sense of responsibility and confidentiality
A self-starter with attention to detail
Ability to prioritise work and manage multiple tasks, likely with competing priorities
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to contribute effectively within a team environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
