We are seeking a Senior Investment Analyst to independently drive the Group's real estate private credit activities as an individual contributor. The role holder will own credit assessment, financial modelling, transaction execution, portfolio monitoring and stakeholder coordination across cross-border real estate debt investments, exercising sound professional judgment with minimal direct supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently analyse real estate backed loans, borrowers, sponsors and underlying development projects, forming and defending well-substantiated investment views.
  • Independently prepare, review and present financial models, credit assessments and investment papers for senior management and Board-level consideration, taking full ownership of the accuracy and quality of the analysis.
  • Independently review valuations, development feasibilities, loan structures, security packages and exit strategies, identifying key risks and areas requiring further diligence without close supervision.
  • Take ownership of portfolio monitoring — including portfolio performance, covenant compliance, project progress, repayments and emerging risks — proactively flagging early warning indicators and recommending mitigation actions to senior management.
  • Take part in end-to-end transaction execution, including structuring input, documentation review, drawdowns and closing requirements, coordinating multiple work streams to meet deal timelines.
  • Monitor foreign exchange instruments, including spot, forward and option contracts, execute decisions to senior management and operating within approved risk parameters.
  • Own the preparation of clear, well-substantiated management reports and presentation materials, including recommendations and key diligence observations, suitable for direct senior management and Board review.
  • Apply strong analytical thinking in reviewing information from fund managers and stakeholders, forming clear and well-supported investment views.
  • Serve as the point of contact and liaison with fund managers, bankers, auditors, legal advisers, tax agents and other external stakeholders, independently managing these relationships on transaction and portfolio matters.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting, tax, statutory and Group requirements, proactively identifying and escalating gaps or risks to senior management.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes, templates and controls for credit assessment and portfolio monitoring.
  • Undertake other investment and finance-related duties as required, exercising a high degree of autonomy and initiative.

Requirements

  • Degree in Finance, Banking, Business, Real Estate or a related discipline.
  • Minimum six years' relevant experience in private credit, corporate lending, real estate finance, project finance or investment management, with demonstrated ability to independently assess transactions and make sound investment recommendations without close supervision.
  • Strong credit or real estate investment analysis, financial modelling and analytical skills, with the ability to independently assess high-value investment opportunities and identify material risks.
  • Proven track record of independently driving deals or portfolio outcomes end-to-end, including exposure to property development, loan documentation and portfolio monitoring.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, technical review capability and attention to detail, with the confidence to represent the function directly with senior external parties (bankers, auditors, legal advisers).
  • Highly proactive, independent, and able to exercise sound judgment and ownership of outcomes in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
