Role Description The Information Technology Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Nilai. This role oversees the company’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, security systems, and business applications, to ensure reliable and secure operations across manufacturing, warehousing, and corporate functions. The manager will plan and implement IT projects, manage system upgrades, and coordinate with vendors to support hardware, software, and cloud services. Daily responsibilities include monitoring system performance, troubleshooting technical issues, enforcing cybersecurity policies, and maintaining data backup and disaster recovery procedures. The role also involves leading and mentoring IT staff, documenting processes, supporting end users, and collaborating with management to align IT initiatives with regulatory requirements and business goals.
Qualifications
  • Strong skills in IT infrastructure management, including servers, networks, and storage systems.
  • Experience with cybersecurity practices, access control, data protection, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Proficiency in managing business applications such as ERP, MES, or other enterprise systems relevant to manufacturing.
  • Ability to lead IT projects, manage timelines and budgets, and coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
  • Demonstrated capability in troubleshooting, problem solving, and providing user support in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical colleagues and prepare clear documentation.
  • Prior experience in pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or highly regulated industries is an advantage.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; relevant professional certifications (e.g., network, security, project management) are beneficial.
